The Story Behind Nolan James Botanicals

A Mother’s Journey to Healing and Clean Beauty

Nolan James Botanicals was born out of a deeply personal journey. When my son, Nolan James, was diagnosed with autism as a toddler, I was determined to find a way to support his healing. I discovered many of his health struggles were not genetic and, according to his doctor, were tied to environmental toxins. Those toxins were affecting his body's ability to function properly.

Determined to help him recover, I immersed myself in research on nutrition, essential oils, herbs, detoxification, and holistic healing. Through dietary changes, natural supplements, detox and chelation, and toxin-free living, Nolan not only improved—he fully recovered. His transformation sparked my passion for clean, chemical-free living and set me on the path to creating safe, organic, effective anti-aging personal care products that you and your whole family can benefit from.

Driven by this concern, I pursued further education at an internationally accredited school of Cosmetic Science in London to earn two Diplomas. My products are tested on humans, not animals. As a cosmetologist of 35 years, my clients enthusiastically embrace the fun of trying “green” beauty care and providing feedback. Six years of feedback allowed me to finalize the line I am offering. Because I am the formulator, I can assure you that all my ingredients are gluten, wheat, dairy, and egg-free. When possible, organic ingredients are included. Only pure essential oils (many organic) are used in the products and can be removed on request.

A Name That Means Everything.

I named this company after Nolan because he is the reason I started this journey. Initially, I wanted to create a business where we could work together, and eventually, I’d turn it over to him to run. But as he thrived—graduating from college in three years with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and launching his own successful career—I realized this brand was about more than just one family. It’s about helping others remove harmful toxins from their daily lives and embracing green beauty.
